			<title>CAYA RECOVERY - January 2026</title>

and it has steadily gotten worse. This disease has or is
affecting a majority of houses and families in some way

problem get brushed under the table?
In my opinion, we often hide from things we don't understand,

During our addiction, many of us have lost so much, stolen from us, or traded for a moment of numbness and escape with hopes that our sickness would be fed for just another day. We traded precious moments with family and friends, because we suffered from a problem that is not fully understood by most people, but God understands. When we are early in recovery, we realize and learn we have been disconnected from God, who is our source of everything good, so given this truth we begin to see the why of it. The definition of the term malady is disconnection, so when we hear that the addict suffers from a spiritual malady as referenced from the A.A. Big Book, that's where we understand we have disconnected ourselves from the source! Biblically, hell can accurately be described as eternal separation from God, sounds kind of similar if you ask me. From my perspective addiction was an absolute living hell. I had absolutely no control over my life and my decisions, as if I was being driven by a force that was not myself. I remember the struggle and constant battle of truly wanting to stop, to change, to live again, only to day in and day out relive the same cold hard truth, I didn't know if that was truthfully possible anymore. I was defeated in a way that I had never known before. It was in that defeated state that I surrendered. I have always accepted Jesus, but I had never allowed Him to save me. I was always thinking about life on my terms, effectively rechaining myself to every bond, He was willing to<br>break. There is a line in the Life Recovery Meeting opening comments that says: We believe that addiction and other problematic behaviors are symptoms of our human behavior- attempting to live life apart from God's plan. I love that line because for me it's as true as it gets, and I am sure I'm not the only one. So I invite you this Holiday season, to try something different. I invite you to learn the steps that can give you a working relationship with God, one that through Jesus, has the power to transform your life and perspective completely. So I ask, will you accept the Christmas Miracle???<br><br><b>You are welcome at CAYA Recovery meetings. Caya Recovery meets every Monday at

I watched the video for "2nd Chances" over a year ago when we started the radio station KTFR. I contacted Greg, and our relationship began.<br><br>This morning, as I drove to one of my favorite Ma &amp; Pa restaurants to meet with Greg, I<br>already had an image of him from his videos: long gray hair, overalls, and a ballcap.<br>Well, I had the hair and ballcap correct and was a little bit in shock that he was wearing<br>blue jeans! This is why we never look at the outside of someone, and I was about to get<br>to experience what was in the man. I am so glad I was able to have a Cup of Joe with<br>Greg Marlow.<br><br>Greg and I sat at that restaurant for nearly two hours, having breakfast, drinking coffee,<br>and laughing. Greg, who is an amazing Outlaw artist, started out in Bluegrass. I promise<br>not to hold that against him, since he has some of his classic Bluegrass being converted<br>to the Outlaw sound—I hope in the near future!</div></div><div class="sp-block sp-image-block " data-type="image" data-id="4" style="text-align:center;"><div class="sp-block-content" style="max-width:560px;"><div class="sp-image-holder" style="background-image:url(https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24293567_1536x1024_500.png);" data-source="N7FNBX/assets/images/24293567_1536x1024_2500.png" data-fill="true"><img src="https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24293567_1536x1024_500.png" class="fill" alt="" /><div class="sp-image-title"></div><div class="sp-image-caption"></div></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="5" style="text-align:left;"><div class="sp-block-content" style="">If there is one thing I found out this morning, it is the heart of this Outlaw. Greg's song "2nd Chances" is a testimony song. I don’t have the space to put everything, but I will say that as we sat there and Greg shared his heart, I knew I was in the presence of someone who had one goal in life, and that is to hear Jesus say: "Well done, good and faithful Servant.” Greg has a heart to share the gospel and use the talents that God has placed in him, allowing those that God has put in his path, such as the original Godfather of Outlaw<br>Gospel, Cody McCarver, to guide him. Greg gave a lot of credit to Cody on how he had<br>directed him and been upfront in Greg's music and videos, providing great support and<br>help. Don’t we all need a guy like that in our corner?<br><br>Greg had to get back to West Plains, but wanted me to hear a song or two that he had<br>talked about, and of course, the DJ in me loves to hear the song before it is finalized or<br>released. It makes the story behind the song even better when you get to hear the story<br>in progress. I jumped in this Outlaw's traveling Jukebox and enjoyed the music and the<br>stories, especially Greg's Godly passion talking about the upcoming songs and videos.<br><br>If you have not heard of this guy, Greg Marlow, you need to tune into KTFR to listen,<br>and ROKU on CAYA-MTM to watch his videos. I'm going to part with something Greg<br>shared with me (and this is not a direct quote): A friend of Greg's had passed away, and<br>he listened to Greg's song "2nd Chances" every night before he died. Greg will be<br>singing that song at this man's funeral. Singing in the circle at the Grand Ole Opry was a<br>huge honor for Greg, explained to me, and I can understand that—I had the honor to<br>stand there as well. But Greg continued, "it is nothing like the honor of singing his song '2nd Chances' at his friend's funeral, because his friend got the message."<br><br><b>Calling gospel singers/artist,&nbsp;</b>Is your music on our station? I did not attend church even once in 2023. I had to earn money. I had to save money. I spent most of that year in the semi working and saving. By the last weeks of 2023, I was unhealthy, had no savings, and was spiritually empty. I was in the midst of a 3 week fight against relapse. I had to make changes, so I made some new years resolutions. The first resolution was to attend church; No working on Sunday, unless it was after church and absolutely necessary. The second was to put some focus on living a healthier lifestyle. The third was to pay off my credit card debt. Lastly, the album would be completed in 2024. Amazingly, I accomplished all of these things. I had fulfilled my call. <br><br>I won’t be making any resolutions this year. This natural human tendency to put limits on grace reveals a spiritual struggle that can hinder our relationship with God and limit His power in our lives.&nbsp;<br>In Matthew 18:21, Peter approached Jesus with a seemingly generous question: "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times?" Peter thought he was being magnanimous, as Jewish teaching suggested forgiving someone three times was sufficient.&nbsp;<br>Jesus’ response shattered all human calculations: "I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven." This wasn't a literal mathematical formula, but rather Jesus' way of saying forgiveness should be limitless.</div></div><div class="sp-block sp-image-block " data-type="image" data-id="5" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-image-holder" style="background-image:url(https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24293492_1536x1024_500.png);" data-source="N7FNBX/assets/images/24293492_1536x1024_2500.png" data-fill="true"><img src="https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24293492_1536x1024_500.png" class="fill" alt="" /><div class="sp-image-title"></div><div class="sp-image-caption"></div></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-heading-block " data-type="heading" data-id="6" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><span class='h2' ><h2 >The Problem with Keeping Score</h2></span></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="7" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style="">When we count our acts of forgiveness, we reveal a troubling scorekeeping mentality that extends to our entire relationship with God. Many believers unconsciously put limits on their spiritual growth, setting comfortable boundaries and refusing to step beyond them, even when God is calling them to greater things.&nbsp;<br>Jesus illustrated this principle with the Parable of the Unpayable Debt. A servant owed his king 10,000 talents—an impossible debt. The king, showing incredible mercy, forgave the entire debt. Yet, this same servant immediately went out and had a fellow servant thrown into prison over a debt of just a few dollars. </div></div><div class="sp-block sp-heading-block " data-type="heading" data-id="8" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><span class='h2' ><h2 >What God Doesn't Owe Us </h2></span></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="9" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div data-jw-element-id="623656897">Here is a hard truth: God doesn't owe us anything. Yet, we often operate with an entitled mindset, thinking, "I serve, I go to church—I should get bigger blessings." This misunderstands the nature of grace. &nbsp; We are the ones with the unpayable debt. Every sin, every rebellion—it all adds up to a debt we could never repay. But God, in His incredible mercy, forgave it all through Christ's sacrifice on the cross.&nbsp;</div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-image-block " data-type="image" data-id="10" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-image-holder" style="background-image:url(https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24293482_1536x1024_500.png);" data-source="N7FNBX/assets/images/24293482_1536x1024_2500.png" data-fill="true"><img src="https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24293482_1536x1024_500.png" class="fill" alt="" /><div class="sp-image-title"></div><div class="sp-image-caption"></div></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-heading-block " data-type="heading" data-id="11" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><span class='h2' ><h2 >The Cost of Unforgiveness </h2></span></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="12" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div data-jw-element-id="623654826"><div data-jw-element-id="623657698">When we refuse to forgive others or ourselves, we pay a steep price: <br><ul><li>Limited Spiritual Authority: Unforgiveness limits the power God wants to give us. Anger, jealousy, and bitterness create barriers that prevent us from experiencing the fullness of God.&nbsp;</li><li>Physical and Spiritual Bondage: Holding onto hurt can manifest in physical problems and keeps us in spiritual bondage, preventing us from becoming who God created us to be.&nbsp;</li><li>Stunted Growth: We cannot move forward if we are anchored to our past hurts and pain.&nbsp;</li></ul>Sometimes, the hardest person to forgive is ourselves. We replay our failures and mistakes. But the truth is: if God has forgiven us, who are we to withhold forgiveness<br>from ourselves? When Christ died, He said, "It is finished." That includes your past, your mistakes, and your failures.&nbsp;</div></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-heading-block " data-type="heading" data-id="13" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><span class='h2' ><h2 >The Freedom Found in Forgiveness </h2></span></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="14" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style="">Remember the freedom you felt when the weight of sin was lifted off your shoulders? That freedom is still available. Christ gave you freedom; do not let people, circumstances, or even your own thoughts put chains back on you.&nbsp;<br>God has amazing plans for each of us, but until we stop limiting Him with our conditions and comfort zones, we will struggle with the same issues. The question isn't whether God is ready to move in your life. The question is: Are you ready to take that next step?&nbsp;<br>The real cost of spiritual growth is dying to what the flesh wants and moving forward in the Spirit. It's about denying ourselves and following Christ, even when it's uncomfortable.&nbsp;<br>Examine your heart for areas where you’ve been keeping score. Choose to release that debt, just as God released yours. Stop putting conditions on your relationship with God and allow Him to take you to the next level of spiritual growth and authority.&nbsp;<br>Remember, God's grace toward you was extravagant and limitless. Now it's time to extend that same grace to others and to yourself, breaking free from the bondage of unforgiveness and stepping into the fullness of what God has planned for your life. </div></div><div class="sp-block sp-divider-block " data-type="divider" data-id="15" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-divider-holder"></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="16" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><b>Want to print this article? Our Christmas celebrations might include
cookies, candy, decorations, presents,
time with family, and maybe some holiday
movies. Everyone wants warm, happy
feelings for the holidays. Hallmark magic
is in the air.
<br><br>This may be an unpopular opinion, but I actually don’t like Hallmark movies. It seems
like they all have the same plot, and if you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. You know
what I do like instead? Stories with relatable characters who may meet the holiday
season with their own struggles, but they soon remember the joy that comes from the
gift of Jesus. I’m not trying to take anyone’s Hallmark movies away from them, so if you
like them, I hope you get to watch as many as you want!
<br><br>I do have some Christian fiction recommendations if you’d like to check them out to
enjoy a different kind of uplifting story.
<br><br><b>Enchanted by Melissa Tagg</b>: A trio of siblings each experience despair and hope over
the holidays in this novella collection.
<br><b>Kiss Me on Christmas by Sarah Monzon:</b> A single mother with a neurodivergent son
makes an unlikely but welcome friendship.
<br><b>This and Every Christmas by Jaycee Weaver: </b>A Christmas-obsessed family’s annual
tradition leads to something special for the oldest daughter.
<br><b>Like a Winter Snow by Lindsay Harrel:</b> Spend Christmas across the pond with a
woman wondering what her life is apart from caretaking for others.
<br><b>An Endless Christmas by Cynthia Ruchti:</b> An extended family Christmas turns
awkward with one blizzard and one rejected marriage proposal.
<br><b>Holly and Nick Hate Christmas by Betsy St. Amant: </b>When two Grinches are set
up, they try out out-hate Christmas, and hijinks ensue.</div></div><div class="sp-block sp-divider-block " data-type="divider" data-id="4" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-divider-holder"></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="5" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><b>Want to print this article? has a different feel to it during the month of
December. The best way I can describe it is a
general feeling of joy and happiness. Everyone
seems just a little kinder, even amidst the hustle and
bustle of the holiday season.
Some of my favorite Christmas memories have to
do with different sounds and smells of
the season.
<br><br>Every year when I was a kid, my family and I would
have two Christmas celebrations: one at my dad's
parents' home and one at the home of my mom's
parents. I can vividly remember the smell of my Grandmother's chocolate pie when
she'd get it out of the oven and how delicious it would taste. I remember my Grandad
asking the blessing before everyone would eat and how he would thank God for the
reason for the Christmas holiday, the birth of Christ in the manger in Bethlehem. After
eating, we would all go into the den and exchange gifts. My Grandad would put a bow
from one of the presents on his head and everyone would laugh.</div></div><div class="sp-block sp-image-block " data-type="image" data-id="3" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-image-holder" style="background-image:url(https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24247634_1774x887_500.png);" data-source="N7FNBX/assets/images/24247634_1774x887_2500.png" data-fill="true"><img src="https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24247634_1774x887_500.png" class="fill" alt="" /><div class="sp-image-title"></div><div class="sp-image-caption"></div></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="4" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style="">When we would eat at my mom's parents home, my Nana's turkey and dressing were always very delicious. As soon as I walked through the door, the smell of food cooking would fill the room. We would eat and exchange gifts and visit together.<br><br>Some of my other favorite Christmas memories involved Christmas songs. I always enjoyed listening to Do You Hear What I Hear by Third Day and Mercy Me's rendition of Silent Night. Another favorite Christmas song was Away in a Manger. We would sing it at church during Christmas cantatas every year.<br><br>Everything about Christmas gives me a feeling of joy and happiness, but the best thing I
love about Christmas is the reason for it. Christ was born in a manger in Bethlehem.
That is more important than food and gifts. In fact, it is the greatest Christmas gift of all.</div></div><div class="sp-block sp-divider-block " data-type="divider" data-id="5" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-divider-holder"></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="6" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><b>Want to print this article? Records. Back when Bride was still known as “Matrix” they opened for Daniel Band and
in the crowd were some of the executives for the “Refuge Music” Group which were
impressed by their act after “Matrix” sold all the Demo tapes they brought. Six Months
later they signed to “Pure Metal Records” which was made by Refuge Records
specifically for Bride. With a budget of $2500 they set out to make their first album
starting in October 1985, which was rushed because they misunderstood the deadline
affecting the quality of the Album.
</div></div><div class="sp-block sp-image-block " data-type="image" data-id="5" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-image-holder" style="background-image:url(https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24247528_1774x887_500.png);" data-source="N7FNBX/assets/images/24247528_1774x887_2500.png" data-fill="true"><img src="https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24247528_1774x887_500.png" class="fill" alt="" /><div class="sp-image-title"></div><div class="sp-image-caption"></div></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="6" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style="">“Show No Mercy" opens with one of the Favorites on our Station “Evil That Men Do”. This one keeps the energy all throughout the song using a simple catchy chorus and the title as a hook. The song opens up with the lines “I need no one to show me, The way that I should live my life, I have no fears, I have no regrets, I have no need to apologize” this opening line is a statement to be set apart from the rest of society and the rest of the song follows suit “Don’t use me for, Evil, Evil that men do” it isn't just a call to attention it’s a prayer of deliverance. Dale Thompson’s Voice is used to full effect the entirety of this album. His high pitched Glam Metal Screams hit
the mark in this song especially.
“Now he is Gone” came out before, but it heavily reminds me of “All Hallows Eve” (Bride
“Silence is Madness” [89]). It is just slower in the chorus. This song is where the more
cryptic lyrics start. Without context, I don’t think I would know this is a Jesus song. With
what my brain can piece together, it’s about those left after the crucifixion of Christ,
those who inherit the spark and those who turn away.</div></div><div class="sp-block sp-image-block " data-type="image" data-id="7" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-image-holder" style="background-image:url(https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24247568_1774x887_500.png);" data-source="N7FNBX/assets/images/24247568_1774x887_2500.png" data-fill="true"><img src="https://storage1.snappages.site/N7FNBX/assets/images/24247568_1774x887_500.png" class="fill" alt="" /><div class="sp-image-title"></div><div class="sp-image-caption"></div></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="8" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style="">“Fly Away” this one starts slower than the rest but picks up soon. This song is also about how Bride declares to set itself apart while admitting “Life will take its toll” and then follows with “I’ll get it with or without pain and strife, He suffered once, I will too,”. The composition feels like it gets somewhat sloppy in certain songs on this album but the guitar led by Troy Thompson and Steve Osborne does not let us down.<br><br>“Forever in Darkness” is about the rapture particularly the fate of the unbelievers during it with the chilling chorus “Forever in darkness away from rain, Forever in darkness to wear the chains” especially chilling when Dale repeats the line as the song fades out. The tempo of this song is surprisingly upbeat for the message; it isn't until the end of the song that the beat follows the theme.<br><br>The title track “Show No Mercy” is a battlecry about drawing strength from Jesus to win the fight, acknowledging spiritual warfare showing no mercy to sin. The layout of this song is definitely befitting of an anthem, with the slow buildup at the start, the unwavering attitude, and the rest of the band joining the chorus.<br><br>“Thunder in the City” is another declaration of faith that starts with a slow buildup
featuring some piano, before eventually exploding as the beat kicks in accompanied by
several computer effects.<br><br>“No Matter the Price” is probably my favorite song on the album. It starts with computer
effects leading into triumphant guitar and Dale’s High pitch vocal. This song has it all:
guitar, unique vocals, and the message that I look for in Christian music. It is another
battlecry, this time stating what is at risk if we don’t stand for Christ.
<br><br>“The First Will Be Last” is the final track on the album as the title says this song is about
how God will flip the expectations of the world come end times as God's people will be
glorified while the world shall crumble. One last time in the album the beat starts slower
till we reach a halfway point where it slows down for some dialog then eventually kicks
up again.
<br><br>Overall This album has multiple memorable tracks for me my favorites being “No Matter
the Price” and “Evil That Men Do” the message and composition get somewhat sloppy
and inconsistent multiple times in this album but for thinking they had a month to
complete it it’s still pretty good. The message of the album, while cryptic at times, is very
consistent, a declaration that they will follow Christ and warning others of damnation.</div></div><div class="sp-block sp-divider-block " data-type="divider" data-id="9" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-divider-holder"></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="10" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><b>Want to print this article? These children have the same rights guaranteed in the Bill of Rights that I do! I once signed my life away to Uncle Sam to defend those rights. My mind raced, thinking about what I could do to stand up for these kids.<br><br>Then, I did some research and began to understand why this action was taken. In November of 2019, the Smith County Board of Education was sued by the American Civil Liberties Union for promoting Christianity. <a href="https://smithcountyinsider.com/home-page-featured/settlement-reached-in-aclu-school-board-lawsuit/" rel="" target="_self">https://smithcountyinsider.com/home-page-featured/settlement-reached-in-aclu-school-b
oard-lawsuit/</a><br><br>The Smith County Board of Education is scared. There are many prohibitions detailed in the 2020 settlement of the lawsuit. Running afoul of the agreed upon settlement could result in severe penalties. However, in their fear, they may have violated the rights of the two students whose applications were denied.<br><br>The First Liberty Institute has taken up the cause of these students. <a href="https://firstliberty.org/media/tennessee-school-district-urged-to-follow-the-law-and-allow-f aith-based-athletic-student-clubs-to-meet/" rel="" target="_self">https://firstliberty.org/media/tennessee-school-district-urged-to-follow-the-law-and-allow-f
aith-based-athletic-student-clubs-to-meet/</a><br><br>Precedent is clear in this situation:<br>● Tinker v. Des Moines (1969):Established that students do not "shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate".<br>● Westside Community Schools v. Mergens (1990): The Supreme Court upheld the Equal Access Act, which requires public secondary schools that receive federal funds to provide equal access to extracurricular clubs, including student-initiated religious groups, during non-instructional time.<br>● Equal Access Act (1984) -
Prohibits federally-funded public
secondary schools which allow
non-school-sponsored groups of
students to meet from discriminating against any meeting of students on
the basis of religious content if: (1)
the meeting is voluntary and student
initiated; (2) there is no government
sponsorship; and (3) no unlawful
activity is permitted.
To the Smith County Board of Education, I offer the following scriptures:<br><br>(Ephesians 6:12) We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.<br><br>(Isaiah 41:10) Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness"<br><br>To the American Civil Liberties Union I say, if you will not stand for the rights of ALL the oppressed, you are standing for no one at all.<br><br><b><i>Opinions expressed in this editorial are the authors and do not necessarily reflect those<br>of CAYA Fellowship.</i></b></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-divider-block " data-type="divider" data-id="5" style=""><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-divider-holder"></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="6" style=""><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><b>Want to print this article? and it has steadily gotten worse. This disease has or is
affecting a majority of houses and families in some way
shape or form with negative effects, but yet is so steered
away from, but why? Why do we choose to let such a real
problem get brushed under the table?
In my opinion, we often hide from things we don't understand,
things outside of our power to control or to change. It's often
easier to accept defeat, than go to the lengths necessary to
overcome an obstacle. Personally I cannot say that I have
met an addict whose goal in life was to be one.<br><br>It's my goal to help bring light and understanding to those who God would have me reach. I want people to know there is a solution!! Millions of people worldwide have combated and overcome addiction worldwide using one simple solution, one that has been far more effective and life changing than any medicine on the market. <b>That
solution is God.</b><br><br>We find, in recovery, the beautiful restorative healing power of God, who is very much active and willing to help, if you have the faith to come to Him. The Twelve Steps are a common solution. When done correctly, they offer a solution to addiction based solely off of spiritual principles. I personally used to laugh at them, until I reached my turning point of being broken enough that I was willing to try anything. I've been sober for 2 years, 4 months, and six days as of the writing of this article.<br><br>I have seen people delivered in an instant, I have seen people who have had to work harder in some cases, but people are being delivered. I have seen people who know a lot about Jesus be delivered, and I've seen Jesus heal people who did not even know Him yet! What an amazing God I serve! My life has been filled with walking with God, and getting to watch people overcome a seemingly hopeless state, to a fully recovered state of mind and spirit!! What a blessing life is. If you are struggling, it's ok. It's ok to ask for help. It's ok if you have made mistakes, and it's ok if you don't know what to do. It's a choice, to do nothing about it! Reach out, find a twelve step meeting, and learn about addiction and ways to overcome it! Remember, you are loved!<br><br><b>You are welcome at CAYA Recovery meetings. Jesus came into the world as a humble baby, yet He brought salvation, hope, and eternal life. In worship, we lift our voices in praise. In fellowship, we encourage one another. In service, we extend Christ’s love to the world. December is a beautiful time to come together as the body of Christ, to remember that we are not alone in our faith journey. When we come to church, we are reminded of the bigger story we belong to—the<br>story of God’s redeeming love. may be wondering to yourself- ‘who is this guy?’
or even ‘why should I tune in?’ I am glad you
asked. I am a 22 year old man who currently
works with Silver Dollar City as a trained
operator where I work on some of the craziest
rides on this side of the Mississippi. I am also a
former firefighter with Western Taney County Fire Protection District. I responded to
fires, car crashes and everything in between. I am also the eldest of three children and
helping try to guide them in this crazy world.
<br><br>As for the second question, I want to bring back some of the classics within the
christian and contemporary music genre. In a world where the radio is going the
way of the dodo bird, I want to keep the values and nostalgia of the classic news
active for a new generation of people while still
spreading the good news of the bible. I am hoping
to keep my show within the same rules and
concepts of the classic Johnny Carson show from
the 60s to the 90s, where anything can happen, but
being intentional in keeping Christian values at the core of the show. <br><br>Well, that is all for now folks!
Make sure to tune in every Monday, Tuesday and
Thursday from 7:30 to 10 am on KMTM or
cayafellowship.com for all of your classic Christian
music!</div></div><div class="sp-block sp-divider-block " data-type="divider" data-id="4" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><div class="sp-divider-holder"></div></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="5" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content" style=""><b>Want to print this article?
